Die Buell XB12 ist ein Motorrad, das auf den ersten Blick durch ihr ungewöhnliches Design auffällt. Sie basiert auf einem luftgekühlten V-Twin-Motor von Harley-Davidson und wurde von Erik Buell entwickelt.
Der 1200ccm V-Twin-Motor liefert ein hohes Drehmoment und sorgt für eine kraftvolle Beschleunigung.
Die XB12 verfügt über ein sportliches Fahrwerk von Showa mit einer Upside-Down-Gabel und einem Zentralfederbein, das voll einstellbar ist.
Die Kombination aus sportlichem Fahrwerk und starkem Motor sorgt für ein intensives Fahrerlebnis, das aber auch eine gewisse Aufmerksamkeit erfordert.
Sie ist nicht unbedingt für den Alltagseinsatz oder Stadtverkehr gedacht, sondern eher für sportliches Fahren, dabei vermittelt sie ein intensives Fahrerlebnis.
Der Kraftstofftank ist im Rahmen integriert, was zu einem tieferen Schwerpunkt beiträgt.
Der Öltank ist in der Schwinge integriert, was auch zu einem tieferen Schwerpunk beiträgt.
Die Bremsscheibe ist schwimmend an der Felge gelagert und wird mit 8 Kolben verzögert.
Der Lenkkopfwinkel ist schon anderst.
Version SCG bedeutet, das Personen bis 178cm richtig Spass haben.
